Shishmaref starts Web search for help in moving

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A northwest Alaska village losing its real estate to the ocean is turning to the Internet for help.     

Residents of Shishmaref are looking for donations and expertise to move from its barrier reef island location to the mainland.
