ANCHORAGE, AK - August 4, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- U.S. Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary Sandra B. Henriquez joined Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan today to celebrate the grand opening of Eklutna Estates, the newest senior housing development of the Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA). The housing authority used $3.2 million of the $5.7 million it received from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to construct the new housing.

ANCHORAGE, AK - March 19, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Friday, March 19, 2010 – The Board of Directors for Alaska Housing Finance Corporation Tuesday approved $1.9 million in mortgage loans for Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) to finance the development of the fourth phase of the Mountain View Village low-income family housing development. A total of 34 housing units will be built at three different locations, consisting of one- to four-bedroom units, renting for between $700 and $1,100 per month to qualified families.

Anchorage, AK - May 22, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — Fifty-nine new units of affordable senior housing are moving forward in Anchorage, secured with long-term financing through Alaska Housing Finance Corporation. The AHFC board Tuesday approved loans totaling $1.5 million for the project known as Eklutna Estates Senior Housing.
