From Public Housing Resident to Manager: Kodiak AHFC Employee Retires After 22 Years

KODIAK, AK - August 22, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Sandra Amox, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation’s (AHFC) asset supervisor in Kodiak, is retiring at the end of this month after a 22-year career in Alaska’s public housing sector.

Roppel Continues as AHFC Board Chair

Governor Frank Murkowski appointed Roppel to the board of directors in July 2003, and he has served as chair since that time. Roppel is also chairman of the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation, a subsidiary of AHFC. Roppel previously served on the Alaska State Housing Authority (ASHA) and AHFC boards for 12 years in the 1970s and '80s. He retired from Alaska Pulp Corporation in 2001
